Applicants applying from outside Australia from a non-English speaking country will need to complete the preparation for the workplace course prior to starting their internships. MPI may waive this requirement for some applicants upon its own discretion at the time of application.

The preparation for the workplace course is a unique 'one week intensive' course specifically designed by MPI for applicants undertaking an internship in Australia. The course mainly deals with aspects related to the Australian business environment.

The course provides interns with a learning environment that aims to develop the interns' confidence, enjoyment and independence as an international intern in Australia. From experience, MPI recognises that interns gain the most knowledge and learn best when they feel comfortable and confident. The 'preparation for the workplace' course is the perfect opportunity for interns to learn about some very important aspects before starting their internships.
