Our teaching program in China offers you the chance to immerse yourself in one of the most diverse and exciting cultures in the world. China is a land of amazing contrast and constant change. Experience the ancient wonders of the Great Wall and Terracotta Warriors or the modern architecture of Shanghai. Enjoy the different scenery, cultures and culinary joys of the Middle Kingdom.

By joining our teaching program in China, not only will you be given a teaching placement in an exciting region of China, you will also gain TEFL qualifications and receive Mandarin language lessons.

 Our program consists of a 4 week introductory TEFL training course and orientation followed by a guaranteed teaching placement for either one or two semesters.

 Location

Placements are spread across all areas of China. Whilst you can specify a region that you would prefer - North East, North, Central East and South - this cannot be guaranteed.

 Applicant Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have completed high school with good grades. Applicants must also have good health and no criminal record. Some work experience and experience working with children is preferable. You need to be either a native English speaker or have sound English levels.

 Length of placement

Applicants can chose between one or two semester placements. Each program includes an initial 4 week training program prior to the beginning of semester. One semester is approximately 5 months in duration.

 • A 4 week Training & Orientation package which consists of English language teaching methodology, orientation to China and Mandarin lessons followed by one or two semester teaching placement in a school in China.

• An allowance of 2000RMB per month while teaching. 

• 24 hour emergency support

• Accommodation and meals are provided throughout the course of the program. This is generally in shared apartments with other teachers.

• Completion bonus of 2500RMB per semester on completion of contract

 Visa Requirements Participants will need an "F" Visa to participate in this program. ISPC will provide you with the necessary documentation required for application. Visa fees are not included in the program fee.
