A professional internship in France is a fantastic way to improve your French language skills and advance your future career. At the same time you will meet new people from all over the world and get to know the French customs and culture. Taking the initiative to immerse yourself in a professional training program abroad will give you a competitive edge in your career when you return home to Australia.

Professional internships are periods of unpaid work experience in an area of your choice, and are designed to improve your professional skills, give a practical application to your studies and kick-start your career.

This program offers you a custom designed internship in the field of your choice for one to six months.

Location
Internships are available in the beautiful city of Nantes

Applicant Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and have some study or work experience in the relevant field. You must also possess an upper intermediate level of French. If you do not reach the required language level, we can arrange French lessons for you prior to the start of your internship.

Working Conditions
Your internship can be customized to suit your interests. We can organise a placement for you in a variety of industries including Marketing, Administration, Accounting, Tourism, Fashion, IT, Agriculture, Law, Advertising, Translation and more. Working conditions will be dependent on the host company but the internship will be unpaid for 30 – 35 hours per week.

1 - 6 months.

Language Requirements
Applicants must speak French to an upper intermediate level. We can arrange language classes for you in Australia or in France before undertaking your internship if necessary.

Visa requirements
Applicants wanting to stay in France for less than 90 days do not require a visa. If you wish to stay for longer, you must apply for a Working Holiday Visa. Please visit www.ambafrance-au.org for further information
