The paid work placement programme in hotels and resort accommodation in Italy is designed for stays of between 1 and 6 months. Participants improve their linguistic skills and level of communication, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of the Italian labour market.

The paid work placement programme in Italy can be combined with an intensive Italian language course prior to your work placement.

 Accommodation and board are provided throughout the duration of the internship along with a living allowance of up to 400€ per month.

 Location

 Placements can be found in resorts and hotels across Italy. Some examples are Santa Maria di Leuca, Gallipoli and Costa de Salento. Whilst we will take into consideration your preferred location, we cannot guarantee the location.

 Applicant Requirements

Participants must be between 18 and 35 years old and must be currently completing studies in tourism and hospitality.

Participants are expected to be motivated, independent, flexible and open-minded. Please note that the position offered is likely to be influenced by the applicants’ knowledge of Italian, plus previous professional experience and academic level.

Length of program

 2 – 6 months including a 2 or 4 week preparatory Italian language class

• Preparatory language course prior to internship (if requested)

Visa Requirements

Participants staying in Italy for less than 90 days do not require a visa. If you would like to stay for longer than 3 months you should apply for a student visa.
