Insurance requirements

All applicants undertaking an internship in Australia must have Personal liability insurance. This is not the same as Public liability insurance. MPI covers all applicants for public liability insurance under its own cover as part of the internship fee applicants pay.

However in addition, applicants are also required to have their own Personal liability insurance. All applicants must show evidence of having Personal liability insurance at the time of application. This may also be a mandatory condition of your visa as in the case of "416 special visa".

MPI is able to arrange this for you if you are unable to arrange insurance yourself. Click here

Should you wish to undertake an internship on a Student Visa, you will still be required to have your own insurance. We are able to arrange this for you also. Click here
